Ann M. Morgan, Ph.D.

Welcome to my professional website! I am an innovative educator with experience teaching and developing curriculum for K-12 programs in Texas, as well as college-level courses at universities across the country.

I am driven by a desire to bring excitement and energy back into the learning experience for both the students and their teachers. In my current position as Director of The Academy at Parish Episcopal School in Dallas, I collaborate with our teachers to develop new academic opportunities outside of the traditional school day.

I work with our students, families, and administrators to identify unmet needs and create engaging courses, seminars, and workshops that captivate the interests of our community and provide robust offerings for review, growth, and exploration.

The courses and workshops I have developed, for my own classroom and in collaboration with others, are rooted in a student-centered approach to learning that prioritizes inclusivity and accessibility.

With a degree in Classics, I fully believe in the necessity of humanities education in contributing to a compassionate, connected, and creative citizenry, but I also recognize the importance the of technology and innovation in moving us forward. Responsible incoroporation of technology training is an essential component of my approach to education.
